Pharaoh Ants

Pharaoh Ants are often confused with other species such as Thief and False Honey Ants. They are very small insects (1/16 of an inch) and are sometimes difficult to see. Under ideal conditions these ants have produced as many as 350,000 ants in just one room! Pharaoh Ants most often are found in areas of a home where water and other liquids are available. Most often homeowners note these ants “trailing” along counter tops, floors and other areas; they can nest in walls, appliances and other hard to find areas.

Pharaoh Ant treatment is most successful when applications of baits are made. In multi-dwelling structures repeated applications are required to gain control; in large buildings successful treatments may take up to one year.
