Spiders

No one likes a spider and if you crush one it will rain the next day. Not true, but spiders are a major detractor on the interiors and exteriors of homes and businesses. Spider droppings, especially in areas adjacent to water bodies where spiders flourish, can be aesthetically unpleasing and lead to permanent staining and damage, increasing maintenance costs. However, spiders are a beneficial creature, in the right places, and Integrated Pest Management, including lighting and structural design, should be considered in any treatment solution. Dangerous spiders are few in our area and include the Brown Recluse and the Black Widow.

More important is the house spider and those that dwell on and near properties. Each year All-Pest Control’s spider division services hundreds of locations for the control of these preditors. Controlling spiders means substantial savings on maintenance around exteriors of buildings while lessening the need for insecticide use indoors. Annually, our offices receive many calls concerning spider bites; we recommend that in all cases of bites of any sort, victims receive immediate medical attention in order that allergic reactions may not threaten life.
